GUN BARREL CITY–The highly anticipated Electric Arts Festival (EAF), hosted by Gun Barrel City (GBC), is making its debut at Cedar Creek Lake, Saturday Nov. 5 and Sunday Nov. 6 at Gun Barrel City Park. Music lovers will enjoy the all-day music from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., featuring Jazz, Blues, DJ’s playing the Top 40, 80s, 90s hits. The festival is free until 6 p.m. when the Electronic Dance Music (EDM) takes over from 6 p.m. until midnight. VIP ticket holders will be able to access the EDM Takeover at 5:45 p.m.
There will be an art ($4,500 total cash prizes) and food truck judging contests ($200 in total cash prizes) starting at 10 a.m. so don’t miss out. This is not only fun for the attendees but this will help out the businesses and artists’ in the community with exposure. 
Attendees will be surrounded by amazing art, some of which will be interactive for adults and children, while other art will be for sale. The food truck road will be filled with worldly cuisines for every taste bud. The festival will have a family friendly atmosphere, especially for the kids until 6 p.m. Interactive art, a playground, a bounce house and other activities are geared for the entire family.
After 6 p.m., the festival will be for ages 18 and up and tickets are required. The EDM Takeover begins at 6 p.m. and includes Trivecta, RADDIX, Esther Anaya, Tension and Altruist. Tickets can be purchased online at www.electricartsfestival.com or at the door. Festival goers and art collectors will be happy with the energy and extras offered, especially with the stage on Cedar Creek Lake, entertained by fire spinners and art for attendees.
Everyone is making this highly anticipated EAF their fall kick-off festival in Gun Barrel City Park, especially being so close to Dallas and Fort Worth. Within a short drive to experience a place in Texas most transplants haven’t experienced yet, Cedar Creek Lake is a place you don’t want to miss. 
Art and music festival attendees will not want to miss out on this magical oasis in their own backyard on Cedar Creek Lake, Nov. 5 and 6. A weekend in this community with friends and family before the holidays and cold weather is not something to be missed but experienced.
