Kaufman County Sheriff Bryan Beavers (right) and Randy Richards are recently honored by Kemp Fire Department for their years of service with Beavers logging 40 years and Richards 35. Beavers was also the department’s pick for Firefighter of the Year for 2023. Beavers said on his social media page that this was where his passion for public service started.
