Gun Barrel City starts the holiday season off with the annual Christmas Parade, themed Galactic Wonders - Christmas in Outer Space Dec. 2. Groom and Sons’ Home Center rides away with first place among the more than 70 floats entered.

Second place goes to Cedar Creek Church with an impressive float shaped like a rocket with holiday figures waving and throwing candy to the crowd.
