Payne Springs Fire Rescue works grass fires in assistance with Log Cabin Fire Department on a vacant lot on Tom Hickman that threatened a neighboring structure and a grass fire on CR 1411.

CEDAR CREEK LAKE—Payne Springs Fire Rescue continues to report fires on their social media as the beginning of 2024 sees both structure fires and grass fires such as the one pictured here that was an assist to Log Cabin Fire Department.
Other fires included structures in Bushwacker, Indian Harbor and Cherokee Shores, as well as a couple of assists in Eustace according to the department’s social media page. Another assist in Log Cabin, which was the second at that address, resulted in a complete loss to the former Hallelujah’s Boutique.
