Simply Elegant - Faith at Work free prom attire event

Madison Cook says “yes” to the dress during the annual Faith at Work Ministries prom attire event March 1. The event helps young ladies, men and their families find the right attire for prom without all the costs. With more dresses to be given away, the event will continue from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday, March 8 at the Faith at Work Ministries, 6004 Ashley Lane in Kemp.

The Recovery Resource Council volunteers time and resources to Faith at Work Ministries prom dress attire event March 1. Before students go look at prom outfits they are required to go to tables to learn about alcohol and drugs that can cause impairment, as well as abusive relationships and to receive a free Bible from the Gideons, along with a gift bag and flowers.

Faith at Work Ministries prom attire event has dresses, jewelry and shoes for all the young women who are planning to attend prom. There are also suits, jackets, pants and shoes for all the young men who are in need to look their best for prom. The event will be open from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday, March 8 and Saturday, April 5 and from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., Thursday, May 1 at 6004 Ashley Lane in Kemp.
