Tri-County Library summer reading program encourages children to read throughout the summer. This summer there were 49 participants ages 0 to 18. Participants are treated to a movie and popcorn at Hometown Cinemas along with prize bags. Although the reading program is complete the library offers fun reading activities for readers of all ages.

Tri-County Library ended their summer reading program with a party at Hometown Cinemas July 15. Those that participated in the program are treated to a movie and popcorn. The top three readers received a “Whatz-Up day pass.” Chandler Phillips (left, front) and sister Bella are in the 0 to 5 year old group, reading 260 picture books. Ripley Morgan (left, back) is in the 12 to 18 year old group reading 20 books with chapters and Daniella Frausto who is in the 6 to 11 year age group reading 92 books with chapters.
