SEVEN POINTS–Whatz-Up Fun Park in Seven Points is helping kids stay cool during the hot Texas summer as they opened up their brand new water park June 4.
Their water park is family-oriented and geared for children 10 years of age and under, although everyone is welcome to enjoy the cool water to stave off the 100-degree temperatures that are fast approaching.
The pool contains a nonslip surface for patrons to keep them safe and able to enjoy all the pleasures of the park. Whatz-Up does recommend that children and others wear water shoes to keep themselves safe as possible during their fun times at the water park. The pool also has a maximum depth of one foot, making it safer for those may be afraid of deep water.
Coolers are allowed inside the water park with sealed, non-alcoholic bottled drinks. No glass and no drinks with straws are allowed inside the park. Food is also available at the park.
The park is open from 11 a.m. through 7 p.m., seven days a week. Admission costs for Monday through Friday are $10/person with Saturday/Sunday admission costing $12/person. Visitors can also purchase a season pass for $69/person.
