GUN BARREL CITY—Gun Barrel City is looking for a local star to sing the National Anthem before the fireworks during the annual July Fest concert held Saturday July 27. The annual fest will include Pat Green, Mike Ryan, Blaze of Glory- The Bon Jovi Experience and America’s Got Talent golden buzzer recipient Sky Elements Drones. 
To enter, contestants must live within a 25-mile radius of Gun Barrel City, submit a current video of yourself singing the national anthem to batkinson@gunbarrelcity.net. Contestants must include their name, age, where they live and #gunbarrelcityjulyfest at the beginning of the video. 
According to the city, links to a video will not be accepted, only original MP4 files only. Videos must be submitted by 4 p.m., Monday, July 15, and must be serious entries only. Previous year winners are not eligible to enter. 
Once all videos are submitted the City of Gun Barrel City will set up a Facebook group with rules and how to vote by Wednesday, July 17 with the winner announced Wednesday, July 24.
