Mabank Intermediate students came together in a beautiful way to support their beloved crossing guard who recently experienced the loss of his wife. “To show our care and compassion the students have been making heartfelt cards to remind him that he’s an important part of our school family and that we are all here for him during this difficult time,” Mabank ISD stated on social media. The district goes on to state that, “It’s moments like these that show the true spirit of our students- their kindness and empathy shine bright.”
