Kenneth Koch Zimmer was born Aug. 27, 1937 in Beeville to Alice and Henry Zimmer. He passed away Oct. 29, 2024 in Star Harbor.
He grew up in Beeville and attended Texas A&M University in Kingsville. Ken obtained a degree in Physics. After college he was employed by Exxon Exploration Company as a Research Geophysicist for 30 years. 
After many years moving and traveling he and Eva chose to retire next to Cedar Creek Lake in Star Harbor. 
In his retirement, he enjoyed traveling and spending time with kids and grandkids.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents and brother Ralph Zimmer.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years Eva, daughter Sandy Seelye, son Gary and wife Andrea Zimmer, brother James and wife Melody Zimmer, grandkids Ryan Seelye, Shannon and husband Mark Deskin, Raquell and husband Charlie Becker, Wesley Riddell and Mark and wife Marisol Riddell, great-grandkids Suzie Q Riddell, Luna Roman and Violet Becker and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 a.m. Nov. 15, 2024 at Star Harbor City Hall.
In Ken's words "Just think about all the times when you made me happy to be your father/grandfather. To me there were no bad times because all of them are special to me."
