Regina Kaye McIninch
Regina Kaye McIninch (Nail), 72, of Mabank passed away surrounded by loved ones March 5, 2025, after losing her brave battle against lung cancer. Regina was born July 14, 1952, in Dallas to James Nail and Brenda Faye Edwards.
She was married to Ronnie McIninch for 25 wonderful years. She found her cowboy and loved him dearly.
She was a very loving and devoted wife, mother, stepmother and MeMe.
Regina was a strong Christian woman who devoted her life to helping others whenever possible.
Regina’s family was her pride and joy. She loved spending time with her family and friends and was usually the first to be silly and bring on the laughter. She loved having her talks with God on the tractor and was an avid lover of all animals.
Regina’s infectious laughter and devoted spirit will be deeply missed by the countless number of people whose lives she touched throughout the years.
Regina was preceded in death by her beloved parents, grandson Andrew Thomas Bishop and step-grandson Robert.
She is survived by daughter Shannon Bishop and husband Dan of Florida, granddaughter Megan Poole and husband Zackary of Michigan, great-granddaughter Olivia Marie Poole, step-daughters Jessica Little and husband William of Texas and Renee Hayes, stepson Michael Wright, sister Tamara Lyn McMillin (Jennifer Renee Bible and Jared Shane McMillin) and brother Robert L. Sands (Aaron Sands, Adam Oyster-Sands and Kathryn Gurganus).
Regina was blessed with seven other grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren who reside in Texas. She is also survived by a number of cousins and other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services and Celebration of Life for Regina will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2025 at the Liberty Baptist Church in Gun Barrel City.
