During the April 15 Gun Barrel City council meeting, the opening ceremony was led with honor and pride by local Scouts from Troop 333 and Pack 1990 from Mabank. Representing Troop 333, Collin proudly took part in the ceremony after recently crossing over from Cub Scouts. Collin spent the last four years with the Cub Scout program and is now continuing his journey with the Boy Scouts, demonstrating leadership and dedication to service. Joining him from Pack 1990 were Samonne, Payton and Exzayvian. Samonne and Payton have been with the Pack since it was first established in 2022 and are inaugural members. Exzayvian recently completed his second year with the pack and continues to grow in confidence and skill. These young leaders presented the colors with respect and reverence, setting the tone for the evening and reminding all in attendance of the values of duty, service and community.
