Danny Gene Jones was born in Hillsboro to Naomi and Buddy Jones June 26, 1946 and he passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family Sept. 14, 2025 at his home in Kemp.   
Danny was preceded in death by his mother Naomi Hodges, father M.E. Jones, step-father William Hodges, sister Connie Elaine and son Randal Craig Jones.
He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years Kaye Jones, daughters Tammy Jeanette Sanford, Kim (George) Malsbury and Brandi Kaye Dunks. He was blessed with seven grandchildren whom he loved and adored, Emily Marie Sanford (Luis Jimenez), Laura Sanford, Heath Malsbury, Dylan (Lexie) Malsbury, Callie Rose Malsbury, Payton (Tommy) Rivoire and Morgan Kaye Pedroso and great grandchild Briggs Anthony Rivoire.
A memorial service will be held at noon Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025, at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
