Cedar Creek Plowboys Club in Seven Points illuminates the night sky while the sounds of country music fills the air. The club was highlighted in the Robert Duvall movie “Tender Mercies” released in 1983. Duvall won an Oscar for Best Actor and Horton Foote won an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay.

Caroline Figueroa (left) and husband Greg are the owners of Cedar Creek Plowboys Club located in Seven Points. The Figueroas are bringing back the rich history to the Cedar Creek Lake area with good music and good food during the Oct. 24 grand opening. Cedar Creek Plowboys Club is located at 336 W. Cedar Creek Parkway in Seven Points.
