David Henderson, 77, of Mabank passed away April 17, 2026. He was the devoted husband of Debra Henderson for 53 years.
Born March 2, 1949, in Greenwood, Miss., David was the son of the late Jim and Letha Henderson.
A proud veteran, David served his country honorably in the United States Army, achieving the rank of Sergeant. He later became a successful business owner in the boilermaker industry. David’s life was a faithful reflection of his deep love for the Lord, and he devoted many years to ministry, touching countless lives through his kindness and service. He found joy in spending time with his family, hunting, and fishing.
David was preceded in death by eight siblings.
He is survived by his loving wife Debra, children Christi and husband Jeff Elliott, David and wife Angie Henderson and Joshua Henderson, cherished grandchildren Hannah and husband Beau Dancer, Hayden Elliott, Faith Henderson, Dawson Henderson, Hadley Elliott, Madie Henderson and Olivia Henderson, great-grandson Brooks Dancer and siblings Jimmy Ray Henderson and Laverne Clanton.
Funeral services were held April 25, 2026 at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank. Interment to followed at Eubank Cedar Creek Memorial Park in Mabank.
David will be remembered for his unwavering faith, his generosity and the love he shared with all who knew him.
