The Gun Barrel Quilters Guild holds their annual quilt show May 1 at the CR Legacy Event Center in Gun Barrel City. The Monitor is honored to select Media Choice at the Gun Barrel Quilt Show. The beautiful quilt that is selected has a sense of community and friendship. Cynthia Allen took pieces from a block exchange, each block has the name and date of who stitched the piece. Allen then took the pieces and created the lovely quilt. Allen received a ribbon for her creation May 1.
