Ken Vieux went home to join the Lord Aug. 20, 2022. He passed with his wife by his side at Baylor hospital in Dallas. 
Ken strongly believed in his faith and loved his family with his whole heart and was active in each of them until he was no longer able.  
He was born in the Texas panhandle March 27, 1940 to Henri and Nobie Vieux. 
He lived his young life in Oklahoma, California and Arizona before settling in the Dallas area. A man of many talents, Ken worked as a carpenter for construction including Ford, a consultant for Alexander Grant and many positions for the City of Dallas before retiring as Deputy Director of the Dallas Appraisal District.
He is survived by his wife of almost 22 years Vicki Vieux, children Amber Fanning and husband Dudley, William Franz, Carrie Silva and husband Alistair, and Christina Campbell and husband Dane, as well as grandchildren Chelsea, Brenden, Gavin, Nigel, Simon, Patrick, Hannah, Natalie and Caroline, sister Willa Mae Heintz, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Traveler. 
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Sept. 5, 2022 at St. James on the Lake Episcopal Church in Kemp.
Ken loved his church faithfully and in lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. James on the Lake Episcopal Church, 10707 CR 4022 Kemp TX 75143.
