Sharon Kay McIninch Horton
Sharon Kay McIninch Horton passed away Aug. 24, 2022. She was born Oct. 18 1952, in Dallas, the daughter of Houston and Joan McIninch.
Sharon graduated from H Grady Spruce High School in Pleasant Grove. She married and had two children she loved more than they will ever know. She was also a proud Nanny and GG. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much.
Most of her career life she worked at CH Collier and Stewart & Stevenson, where she was the rental coordinator for many years. Her last job was working at the Prairieville store where she could make a great burger or anything else you wanted.
She was a caretaker, just like her mom, always there for her loved ones who were ill or needed her.
She loved gardening, making things and going to the lake to look for arrowheads, most of all she loved to fish.
In addition to her parents, her brother Doyle McIninch preceded her in death.
Surviving her is son James Sanders and wife Sarah of Mabank, daughter Christy Kay Armstead and husband Bo of Dallas, grandchildren James Sanders Jr, Brittany Willis, Kristian Armstead, Trenton Armstead, Houston Lowrance and Gabreyal Lowrance, 10 great-grandchildren, brother Ronnie McIninch and wife Regina of Mabank, sisters Karen Coker and husband Richard of Streetman and Denise Davidson and Dean Huffman of Terrell and many nieces and nephews.
God gained another precious Angel who will be missed by all who loved her.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022 at 15575 CO RD 116 in Mabank.
