James Donald Wylie, 64, of Mabank passed away Sept. 23, 2022. James was born Oct. 9, 1957 to parents, James Douglas Wylie and Donna Lee Ruff.
In 1977, James graduated from Mabank High School. On June 12, 1981, James married the love of his life Michele Morris in Kemp.
He was a devoted and caring husband, father, grandfather and friend. His time was spent surrounded by his loving family.
James was an adventurous and undaunted man who loved riding motorcycles, speed boats and fast cars. His diligence and selflessness was dedicated to Solar Turbines in Mabank.
James used his skills and talents as a fabricator for this company for many years. His memories will be cherished in the hearts of those he knew and loved throughout his lifetime.
James was preceded in death by his parents and sister Jeanne Wylie.
James is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, son Jeffery Wylie of Mabank, grandchildren Sabastyn Aderholt, Toryn Wylie and Braxton Stout of Mabank, sisters Becky Hughey and her husband Jerry of Mabank and Cathi Massey and husband David of Kemp, brother-in-law Steve Morris and his wife Jacqueline of Colorado, mother-in-law Alta Morris “Gigi” of Colorado, aunt and uncle Joyce and Jimmy Butler of Trinidad along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, 2022 located at the Providence Baptist Church in Tool.
