Pauline Puryear Faircloth, 87, peacefully passed away Oct. 3, 2022, after a battle of Alzheimer’s.  She is rejoicing with her Savior and her husband James C. Faircloth.
Pauline was born July 14, 1935 in Harnett Co., N.C. and lived a full life with nine siblings on a farm.
She married the absolute love of her life, James C. Faircloth Oct. 13, 1954. They both grew up working at tobacco farms in North Carolina where their humble beginnings shaped their lives together.
In 1956, they moved to Texas and James went to work at Central Freight Lines. Later, she went to work at AT&T and loved the early days of computing. She was a devoted mama and always known as an expert seamstress and gardener.  She was blessed with wittiness and had the most radiant smile. She took great care of her husband after a terrible reaction in surgery where he lost both legs. They worshipped each other in sickness and health.
Pauline was preceded by parents Caviness Daniel and Ethel Puryear, brothers Wallace and Caviness Daniel (CD) Puryear and sister Mary Belle Moody and other aunts, uncles and cousins.
Survivors are daughters Pam and husband Rick Hardin, Robin Cecil and Kelly Wetzel and husband Charlie, sisters Virginia and husband Gene Barden, Mildred Johnson, Mary O'Briant, Virgie and husband Bobby Watson and Carolyn and husband Carl Ray, brother George and wife Carol Puryear, in-laws Joe, Ronny and Doug Faircloth, grandchildren Brandy Jenkins, Phillip Wooten and wife Jennifer, Whitny Raymond and husband Eric and Taylor Harris, great-grandchildren Kynlee, Slayden and Everleigh Grace and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Funeral services were held at Eubank Funeral Home Oct. 8, 2022.
