Huey Lois Roach Jr. “Sonny,” 86, of Whitesboro, passed away Oct. 5, 2022 in Gainesville.  He was born Jan. 31, 1936 to Huey Lois Roach Sr. and Gladys Roach in Dallas. 
Huey spent 22 years in the Air Force and was a Vietnam Vet. He then went to Richland College and worked for Motorola for about seven years. Sonny married Dorothy Roach June 13, 2003. 
He enjoyed playing golf and kept active by walking and keeping busy. 
Sonny was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Jimmie Lois Roach and Norma Frances and brothers Danny Lee Roach, Dewey Lee Roach and Buddy Roach. 
He is survived by his wife, sisters Rosie McMillin of Kemp and Sandra and brother-in-law Billy Killingsworth of Seagoville, daughters Jimmie L. Roach of Panama City, Fla., Debbie Lawson Long of Panama City, Fla., Laurel and son-in-law Rodney Rodgers of Odessa, Melissa Foster of Dallas, Tina and son-in-law Glenn Davis of Gainesville and Sharon Tillman of Gainesville, son and daughter-in-law Ken and Jamie Foster of Joshua and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  
A graveside service was held Oct. 15, 2022, at Grapevine Cemetery in Grapevine with military honors.
