Jonathan Michael Boyd, 33, of Kemp, passed away at his home Nov. 4, 2022. Jonathan was born Jan. 16, 1989, in Terrell to Greg and Linda (Day) Boyd.
Jonathan was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church in Cap City, where he was baptized and became a loyal follower of Christ. He loved hunting, fishing, mowing his lawn and really loved hanging out in his shop but most of all, he loved spending time with his little man Brooksy B. 
Jonathan was really good at working with his hands and enjoyed making and building things, like the wooden cross he made for his mom on Mother’s Day. 
He was a goofy prankster with great sense of humor and was always cracking a joke or cutting up. Jonathan was a wonderful friend to all, an amazing father and husband and “the most awesome son ever.” 
Jonathan was a true warrior, he was fiercely loyal and an incredibly strong person and he will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.   
Jonathan was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Arizona and Bernard Scott, paternal grandparents Jack and Millie Boyd and his special Aunt Mae McBride. 
He is survived by his wife Alexandra Boyd and their son Brooks of Kemp, parents, sister Misty Parks of Bristol, Va., special nephew Brantley Boyd of Kemp and numerous friends and extended family.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, 2022 at Anderson Clayton Bros. Chapel in Kemp. Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022 at Anderson Clayton Bros. Chapel in Kemp.
