Funeral services for Everett Donald Nix,15, of Kemp were held March 4, 2023 at Clearview Bible Church with Bro. James Hall, Bro. Hugh Roberts, Bro. Ken Davis and Bro. Don Griffin officiating.
Everett passed away Feb. 22, 2023 in Dallas.  He was born May 13, 2007 in Kaufman.
Everett was baptized March 21, 2019. He attended Clearview Bible Church and Hillcrest Baptist Church. He was a sophomore at Mabank High School. Everett loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and mudding. He loved video games and swords. Everett was a very loving young man who loved little kids.  
Everett was preceded in death by his aunt Summer Howard and cousin Tory Grimes.  
He is survived by his mother Autumn Nix, father Clint Nix, brothers Garrett and Wyatt Nix,  sister Summer Nix, grandparents Eddie and Donna Nix, Richard and Kay Alldredge and David Howard, great-grandparents Helen and Darrell Alldredge, aunts Casey Garcia, Amanda and Marcus Netherland, Chelsea and Garon Austin, Cheyenne Alldredge and Alexis Alldredge, uncle Darrell Alldredge, great-aunts and great-uncles Ruth Ann and Benny Kellar, Laurie and Rocky Kellar, Gary and Gaylene Flowers, Paula Cubine and Tim Cubine and numerous other relatives.  
Pallbearers were Wyatt Nix, Darrell Alldredge, Daniel Garcia, Reagan Prevost, Colben Reed, Sam Carter, Mason New, Roger New, Cody Bice and Landon Baker.
