William “Willie” Delano Jaynes
William “Willie” Delano Jaynes, 81, of Mabank passed away Feb. 28, 2023 at his home. He was born Jan. 20, 1942 in Bonham to the late William Foster Jaynes and Johnnie Margaret Fanning.
Willie was raised attending the Church of Christ. He met and married his wife Sharon Dinsmore Jaynes in Dallas.
While raising their family, Willie worked as a General Superintendent in commercial construction across the southern states and Texas. He retired from Capform Construction in 2013.
He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren attending their games and events. He was the champion at monopoly and enjoyed playing dominos. Willie restored old tractors and was a member of the tractor club. He also purchased his 1950 Chevrolet Bel Air, which he was very proud of.
He enjoyed watching all sports, especially NASCAR and football with his family and friends.
William was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and three brothers. He is survived by his wife, children William Buckley and his wife Aimee, Kimberly Jaynes and partner Moises Alvarez, Mickey Hicks and wife Gina, Shawn Jaynes and girlfriend Jennifer Madden and Jacky Del Jaynes and wife Tina, grandchildren Samantha Buckley, Cari Debay, Blake Hicks, Brett Hicks, Marissa Dougan, Christopher Jaynes, Julia Coulter and Colton Lee Jaynes, great-grandchildren Tanner Debay, Claira Debay, Jhett Hicks, Skylar Hicks, Hudson Dougan, Spencer Jaynes and Chrisley Coulter.
Pallbearers are David Conner, Tom Trull, Don Hatton, John Collins, Richard Quesenberry and Randy Overton.
