Gerry “Lynn” Swofford passed away March 31, 2023, at the age of 77 in Tyler. He was born in Baird to parents Robert Clifton “Bob” Swofford and Altha Lenore Maule Swofford.
Gerry was a family man. He loved living on the lake, being outdoors hunting and fishing.  Gerry enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. 
Gerry was preceded in death by his parents and sister Roberta. 
He was survived by his loving wife Frances Swofford, sons Dial Swofford and wife Malissa and Cliff Swofford and wife Aleshia, daughter Lisa Scroggins, stepson Chris Galbreath and wife Angie and stepdaughter Diane Galbreath, 14 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, brother Jon Swofford and wife Carla, other loving family members and many more lifelong friends.
