Richard Franklin Moore, 73, of Eustace, passed away April 2, 2023 at his home. He was born Oct. 12, 1949 in Dallas to Roger Franklin and Mary Maxine Bennett Moore. 
Richard was a jokester and loved to make people laugh. He was voted Most Friendly in high school and held that trait the rest of his life as he never met a stranger. He often knew someone everywhere he went.  
Richard proudly served in the U.S. Army and then went on to a career with the Dallas Police Department. He loved going to the State Fair of Texas and was proud to have attended every year of his life.  
Richard loved sitting next to the fire and visiting with family and friends. He also enjoyed his horses and Westerns. Richard was a Methodist by faith.
Richard was preceded in death by his wife Regina Moore, parents and brothers Mike and Greg.
He is survived by sons Alex and wife Mary Moore and Nathan and wife Amanda Moore, grandchildren Hannah and husband Josh, Savannah, Richard “Rino,” Brendyn  and Hunter, sisters Carol, Patti, Mary and Nelda and brothers Billy and David.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. April 20, 2023 at the Casa View Assembly of God church 9949 Ferguson Rd Dallas, TX.
