Albert Leroy Robbins, Sr.

Albert Leroy Robbins, Sr., 86, went home to the Lord May 25, 2024. He was born Oct. 3, 1937, in St. Louis, Mo., to George E. Robbins and Pearl E. (Wright) Robbins. 
He moved to Eustace in 2006 from Illinois. Albert married Frieda Ellis March 26, 1956. They were married till her passing in 2005. They had seven children.
Albert was a carpenter and painter. In 1990, he helped build his sister and brother-in-law’s house in Eustace. He loved to play bridge, draw plans for houses and work at the M.A.G.S. Food Pantry.
Albert was preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughters Tina Loughridge and Debbie Hager, grandson Albert Robbins III, five brothers, two sisters, five nephews, and four nieces.
He is survived by his sisters Henrietta Wheeler of Jefferson City, Mo., Shirley Christenson of Potosi, Mo. and Pearl “Peg” Goin of Eustace, sons Albert L. Robbins, Jr. (Mary) of East Alton, Ill., Mike Robbins (Debbie) of Arnold, Mo., and Eddie Robbins of Granite City, Ill., daughters Patricia Dugan of Madison, Ill and Virginia Lemon (Bill) of Fenton, Mo., 22 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, along with other family and many friends.
