Ada Miller Weaver was born Nov. 21, 1930 and peacefully passed away July 23, 2025. 
Ada and R.J. lived in Garland until retiring to Cedar Creek in 1992. Ada was an avid golfer and reader. 
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Mabank, Cedar Creek Country Club and the Order of Eastern Star. A special thank you to Patty Cave (niece) for her love and support of Ada. 
Ada was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 50 years R. J. Weaver, stepson Ralph Weaver, grandson Jacob Mayfield and parents Dooley and Thelma Miller. 
She is survived by her stepson Bobby Weaver of Longview, grandchildren Michelle Oliver (husband Dale) of Hemphill, Tracey Weaver of Austin, Paul Weaver of Liberty Hill and Greg Weaver of Longview, great-grandchildren Abigail and Naylie Weaver of Austin and Whitney and William Weaver of Liberty Hill and sisters Joyce Ivy (husband Leon) and Juanita Slusher. 
Graveside services will be held in Dallas at Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery - Garden of Devotion at 3 p.m. July 31, 2025.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Ada’s memory to First Baptist Church of Mabank or the charity of your choice.
