Ann Brennan
Ann Brennan, 84, of Gun Barrel City, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Dallas Feb. 8, 1940, she lived a life defined by love, generosity and unwavering strength.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Mildred Smith, grandson Jeremy Don Brennan, brothers John Smith, Walter Smith, T.A. Smith, Fred Smith, Arthur Smith and Jack Smith, sisters Francis Warren, Sue Kirby and Millie Stringfellow.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years Carroll Brennan, son Randy Smith, daughter Lisa (Jerry Don) Brown, beloved grandchildren Lindsey Brown, Angel Brown, Neil Smith, and Matthew Smith, great-grandchildren McKenzie Stephens, Avery Crossland and Faith Smith, sister Ruth Miller and brother Bill (Kathy) Smith.
A member of Rockin’ Country Church, Ann’s faith was a cornerstone of her life. Her kind spirit, giving heart and resilience will forever remain an inspiration to her family and all who knew her.
Funeral services to honor Ann’s life were held Dec. 24, 2024 at Anderson Clayton Brothers – Kemp. Pastor David “Woody” Woodham officiated the service.
