Ann Lee Sutton, 86, passed away peacefully March 20, 2023, at her home in Mabank surrounded by her family. She was born Jan. 8, 1937, in Athens to parents Roy and Levata (Brewer) Bracey.
Ann was a graduate of Mabank High School, where she met Ray Sutton. They were married Nov. 6, 1954, in Mabank. Ann was a secretary for the City of Desoto, a position she held for 16 years. 
One of Ann’s favorite hobbies was gambling, she absolutely loved going to the casinos. Ann liked being outside and enjoyed working in her yard. She was a simple woman who loved her kids and grandkids dearly, she will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
She is survived by sons Jim and wife Patti Sutton of Mabank, and Gary and wife Vickie Sutton of California, brother John Sutton of Arlington, grandchildren David Sutton, Scott Sutton, Krystal Templin, Kris Templin, Jazmin Sutton, Jamie, Jeffrey and Teresa, 14 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
