Bobby Whitley, 80, beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother was called to his eternal resting place Nov. 21, 2022.
Bobby was born Dec. 28, 1941 in Dallas to Cecil and Catherine Whitley.
Bobby loved the Lord and serving as deacon at Wildwood Baptist Church. He was very involved in Bearing Precious Seed and worked making John Roman Bibles.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and brother Dan Whitley.
He is survived by the love-of-his-life Barsha Whitley, children Tony Whitley and wife Suzzette of Mansfield, Terry Whitley and wife Cindy of Tool, Tim Whitley and wife Cassandra of Mabank and Mellissa Keel and husband Kevin, his fur-baby Bella, brothers Cecil Whitley, Benny Whitley and Bailey Whitley, sister Doris Isbell, grandchildren Amanda, Joshua, Jeremy, Matt, Kimberly, Tiffany, Tristan, Tanner, Hunter, Rachael and Dusty, 22 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, special niece Dianna Isbell McCarty and numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services were held Nov. 26, 2022, at Huckabee-Tomlinson Chapel in Seven Points with Brian McWhorter and Freddie Pendleton officiating. Burial followed at Elm Grove Cemetery.
