BoJames Markes Shewmaker, 38, of Eustace passed away July 26, 2022. B.J. was born Jan. 21, 1984 to James Ray Shewmaker and Hazel Kathileen Massey. 
He was a caring and doting son, brother, father and grandfather who loved spending time with his beautiful family. 
B.J. was adventurous and diligent. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking. Christian by faith, he praised his Lord at the Zion Hill Full Gospel Church. B.J. will be truly missed by all of those he met and knew in his lifetime.
B.J. was preceded in death by his sister Geneva Annette Shewmaker Gorum.
He is survived by his children Joslyn Cheyann Shewmaker of Tyler, Anthony Daniel Owens of Tyler, Samantha Duvall and son-in-law Scotland of Gun Barrel City, James Rogers of Nacogdoches and David Morgan of Nacogdoches, his parents, brothers Dustin Ray Shewmaker and sister-in-law Cassie Bodine of Trinidad, Joshua Vee Shewmaker and sister-in-law Bobbie of Gun Barrel City, grandchildren River Duvall of Gun Barrel City, Kayden Duvall of Gun Barrel City and Ryker Duvall along with numerous other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
