Chad Thomas Henderson was born Aug. 23, 1972. He entered into eternal rest June 12, 2022, long before his loved ones were ready for him to be called home.
He was a larger than life personality with a heart as big as the Texas Country he loved. Chad was a music enthusiast, with tastes ranging from old to new and everything in between, he attended music events at every opportunity.
He enjoyed car races with his cousin Tim Bookman, he loved to cook and loved to eat, but most of all he loved spending his time with his precious family and making memories that they will cherish for the rest of their time here on this earth.
Chad attended Mabank High School, graduating in 1990 and made many lifetime friends that will truly miss his presence in their lives; the random funny text messages or the genuine love and support that he was always giving to others.
Chad was a devoted son, amazing brother, dedicated husband and loving father, adoring grandfather, uncle and loyal friend. He was a truly special man and touched so many lives and had so much love to give.
Chad was Christian by Faith and sometimes attended the First Assembly of God in Mabank, where his nana was a lifetime member, and where he was saved, placing his trust in Jesus.
Knowing that they will be reunited with him when the time comes those he leaves behind some comfort and peace.
Chad’s life and love has made a huge impact on so many hearts and he loved hard, with everything he had; those whose hearts he touched will miss him forever.
Chad was preceded in death by his father Tommy Henderson, grandmother Beverly Medford and great-grandmother Bessie Davis.
He is survived by his beloved common law wife Cherie Wallace of Mabank, son Blake Henderson and fiancé Courtnie of Athens, mother Debra Dudley of Canton, Kristy Spivey and husband James of McAlester, Okla., aunt Brenda “Boo” Palmer and fiancé Jeff White of Mabank, grandchildren Riley and Braylie Henderson and Leighton and Logan Duran, step-children Caitlin Duran and fiancé Austin Priddy of Houston, Jessica Lewis and husband Parker of Richardson, Tyler Duran and wife Laci and nephew Kaiden Duke.
