Services for Craig Jennings were held Oct. 28, 2023 in the Eubank Cedar Creek Memorial Chapel. 
Craig Elton Jennings was born March 5, 1975, in Bossier City, La., to the late David and Carolyn (Johnson) Jennings and passed away Oct. 23, 2023. 
He was a graduate of Mabank High School and received his Master's Degree in Social Work from Texas A&M University Commerce. 
He was an avid sports fan but most especially the Dallas Cowboys and Texas A&M Aggies. He volunteered for many years as an umpire for local little leagues and worked as an Umpire doing High School games for several years. 
He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Mabank. Craig worked and helped many people throughout the years while he was with Kairos doing prison ministry trying to help all that he could. He never met a stranger and could talk with anyone, if you didn’t know him, he would talk to you until you did, he always had a big smile and that gift of gab.
He is survived by his children Colton Jennings and Kristen Edwards of Mabank, Cambrie Jennings of Mabank, Lillie Jennings of Mabank, Jennifer Trautman and husband Evan of Chesapeake, Va. and Jeremy Minyard and Emily Sparks of Mabank, grandchildren Avery Jennings, Kendall Minyard, Logan Trautman and one on the way, siblings J.D. Jennings and wife Tina of the Aley Community, Edwin “Frog” Jennings of Ft. Worth and Okemah Neeper and husband Scott of Eustace, aunt Inez Roe of Georgia, mother of his children Jessica Jennings of Mabank and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
