D’lana “DeeDee” Lyn Thompson
D’lana “DeeDee” Lyn Thompson, 56, of Seven Points passed away Aug. 6, 2022. D'lana was born April 22, 1966 to parents Glenn Meredith and Reba Bonsal in Los Angeles, Calif.
On Sept. 20, 1986, D'lana married the love of her life, Todd in Gun Barrel City. She was a devoted and loving wife, sister, aunt and friend who loved spending time with her family, especially Todd.
D'lana was adventurous and vibrant, she loved being outdoors, walking along the creeks, hunting for treasure, collecting rocks and sticks.
Christian by faith, D’lana had a huge and caring heart, one that loved reading her Bible, listening to music, gardening, growing flowers and shopping. She will be dearly missed by all of those she touched through her lifetime.
D’lana was preceded in death by her parents, brother Chris Meredith, step-dad Charles Hines, aunt Hula Faye Beets, nephew Michael Holland and father-in-law Bobby Thompson.
She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years Todd Thompson, brother Charles Wayne Hines of Seven Points, sisters Pam Khan of Seven Points, Donna Graham and husband Ricky of Mabank and Kay Silvey of Seven Points, nephews Justin Holland, Garrett Culps, Douglas Willard, Matox Guerra, Bradley Thompson, Hayden Hines and Brandon Pace, nieces Chelsea Cleveland, Sydney Letkiewicz, Sara Willard, Stephanie Mosler and Aiyanna Guerra, step-mother Anne Meredith of Mabank, brother-in-laws Bryant and Craig Thompson and mother-in-law Lillie Thompson along with numerous great nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will take place in the Chapel of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, 2022. Immediately following service will be a burial, located at the Payne Springs Cemetery.
