Edith Louise Horton Stephenson, 98, of Mabank, was born June 18, 1926. She married Elmer “H” Stephenson in 1948. They had one son Herstel Lynn, who was tragically killed in a tractor accident at age 16.
Louise passed away Feb. 11, 2025 in Mabank.
She is survived by nieces Joyce Colegrove of Mineola, Delorus DeFrancesco of California, Jeannette (Tom) McPherson of Crandall, Brenda (Tony) Hardin of Mabank, Betty (Robert) Nickelson of Mabank, Becky Gaddis of Malakoff and Glenese Horton and nephews Lanny (Cindy) Gaddis of Mabank, Billy Horton of Dallas, Richard Horton of Ft. Worth, Arnold Kaufman of California and numerous great nephews and nieces.
Celebration of Life services were held Feb. 17, 2025 in Kemp. Louise was buried at Grove Hill Cemetery in Dallas.
