Jackie Ray Hicks of Mabank was born June 30, 1949 to Jessie Hicks and Lillie Mae Baker in Phalba  and passed away May 6, 2026 at the age of 76. 
He graduated from Mabank High School and later was self employed as a carpenter. 
Jackie was preceded in death by his parents, brother Leroy Hicks and sisters Jessie Mae Gene, Bonnie Richardson and Jennifer June Hicks. 
He is survived by his nephew Jessie Hicks of Mabank.
