Jerry Wayne Lott, age 53, of Trinidad, passed away March 1, 2024. He was born Dec. 17, 1970 in Dallas. 
Jerry was known for his love, laughter, and unwavering dedication, touching the lives of many.
Jerry pursued a varied career as a dry cleaner, boiler control technician and Jack-of-all trades. He attended Kemp schools and Trinity Valley Community College. Jerry found solace and community at Caney Creek Baptist Church.
Jerry was known to be the person that everyone could count on as he loved to help anyone. In his free time, Jerry enjoyed riding his motorcycle, traveling and camping.
Jerry was preceded in death by his father Rickey Lott, grandfathers Leland Tedder and James Lott, grandmother Margaret Lott and father-in-law Glenn Thorpe Jr.
He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 25 years Tina Myers Lott, mother Frances Lott, sisters Kelley Cubine and husband Timothy and Shirley Chasteen and husband Tommy, brother Gene Lott, grandmother Laveda Tedder, mother-in-law Donna Thorpe, sisters-in-law Janel Norton and husband Joe, Lisa Chamberlain and husband Tim, Deann Kelsey and husband Jesse and Samanthia Lane and husband Ben, brother-in-law Glenn Thorpe III and wife Ashley, nieces Brittney Striegel and husband Preston, Jasmyn Nunnelly and husband Brad, Cayley Fisher and husband Lando, Danielle Prince, Taylor Chamberlain, June Norton and Ruby Norton, nephews Louis Prince IV and Lincoln Chamberlain, great-nieces Hayden, Harper, Charlotte, Rylie and Nova, great-nephew James and numerous loving relatives and countless friends and neighbors who became family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m.  Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Timber Creek 13870 CR 2140 in Kemp, followed by a Show Love Benefit at Kings Creek Golf Course at 5 p.m., 602 Club Drive in Kemp.
Jerry Wayne Lott will be deeply missed by all who know and loved him. May he rest in peace.
