Kendelyn Jane (Walker) Prokop, born June 15, 1940 passed away Dec. 19, 2022.
She was both an hourly worker and a business-owning, entrepreneur. In her lifetime, she was most proud of her upholstery shop where she employed her gift for interior design with flare and confidence.
She was organized, methodical and artistically scattered. After retirement, she would paint until she lost track of time, often using toothpicks to finish the details. As in everything, she had her own style. She was feisty and opinionated, always right until she wasn’t.  She trusted to a fault. Created art from broken pieces. Loved with a passion! She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Graduate of Sunset High School in Dallas.  Daughter of Kenneth Ray Walker and Billie Adele (Wicker) Walker. Born in Sudan in a half-dug out.  Moved to Dallas during WWII when her father was called to serve.
Kendelyn was preceded in death by her father, mother, brother Michael Ray Walker and son Ronald Keith Prokop.
She is survived by her daughter Rhonda Croney, sister Sharon Kay (Walker) Hubbard, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
