Larry W. Schroeder was born to Carl E. and Sarah Lucille Schroeder of Wichita, Kan., July 7, 1952. He passed away at his home of 44 years in Kemp Jan. 31, 2023 and is survived by his wife Sidney Schroeder.  
Larry and Sidney wed July 29, 1972 enjoying 50 wonderful married years together.
They were blessed with daughter Aeron Renea and husband Aubrey Dewbre of Crandall and son Jacob Wayne and wife Amie Schroeder of Hatfield, Pa. and grandchildren Adrian and husband Blake Hughes, Alesia and husband Chase Lindsey, Aidan Schroeder, Gavin Schroeder, Asher Dewbre and Dylan Schroeder.
Larry was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in January 1974. Living a simple life, keeping focused on God’s Kingdom blessings now and those to come, is what made him happy.
He also very much enjoyed writing over 300 short stories, based on a little truth with a whole lot of exaggerations, for The Monitor Newspaper.
