Anne Sherrill, beloved wife, mother and grandmother was called to her eternal resting place Sept. 1, 2024. She entered this world Feb. 19, 1946 in Mississippi.
Anne had a vast knowledge in many subjects, including nursing, financial and ministry. She earned her bachelor's degree in nursing, was an ordained minister through the Assembly of God church. She was also the president of the Cedar Creek Republican Club and a member of the Henderson County Republican Party.
Anne was preceded in death by her mother Mary Kersey and sons William Ashley Kendrick and Anthony Christian Kendrick.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Al Sherrill, son Gregory Franklin Kendrick and wife Jackie, daughter-in-law Tammy, grandchildren Garrett, Blake, Bryttnii and Tabitha and great-grandson Theodore “Teddy.”
Funeral services for Anne will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, 2024 at Living For The Brand Cowboy Church, 902 Loop 7 in Athens with Mark Lewis officiating.
