Michael Herbert Cloyes, 75, of Gun Barrel City, passed away May 19, 2025. 
Mike was born in Kansas City, Miss., Dec. 5, 1949 and was a long-time resident of Gun Barrel City. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for many years, retiring from active-duty service in 1989.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents Herbert H. Cloyes and Ethel Melba Cloyes (England).
He is survived by his wife Roxie Cloyes, son Sean Cloyes, daughter Shannon Phillips and husband Kirt, stepdaughter Lori Smith and husband Steve and Shane Kelso, four grandchildren and numerous other family and friends.
A visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, June 16, 2025 at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home located at 601 State Hwy 198 in Mabank followed by a Celebration of Life memorial service from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
