Michael James Langford born Aug. 26, 1942 in Jefferson, Iowa passed away peacefully Aug. 23, 2024 at Legend Oaks Nursing Home in Ennis. 
Mike worked in sales for the majority of his life until retiring to the Cedar Creek Lake area in the early 1990s, with retirement not keeping him satisfied he created Cedar Creek Consierge a property management business around Cedar Creek Lake. Mike and Alice very much enjoyed their time living in Gun Barrel City making many friends in the area.
Mike was preceded in death by parents Verl Langford and Wanda Barker, his wife of 60 years Alice Faye Langford and son-in-law Eric Salomon.
He is survived by son Michael P. Langford and wife Elizabeth, daughters Jeanette A. Salomon and husband Al and Susan A. Salomon, grandchildren Daniel Pacheco, Michael W. Langford, Gary Langford, Jeremy Langford, Teresa Grace, Jacob Salomon, Mathew Salomon, Sarah Dres and Bradley Salomon as well as 21 great-grandchildren.
Mike did not want a memorial or a funeral and will be cremated and buried with his wife who was also cremated.
