Norman Clay Thomas, 87, of Mabank, passed away Oct. 14, 2025. He was the husband of the late Vonda June Black Thomas.
Born Jan. 16, 1938, in Aley Norman was a son of the late Virgil Thomas and the late Willie Eleanor Jones Thomas.
Norman and June married in June of 1961. He received a bachelor’s from Texas A&M and a master’s from East Texas State University. He taught vocational agriculture for 20 years. He owned and operated Mabank Feed and Fertilizer for 16 years. He enjoyed raising registered black angus cattle for many years. He was faithful member of Mabank Church of Christ.
Norman is survived by children Joel Craig Thomas and his wife Shelia of Granbury and Vonda Leann Thomas of Mabank and grandchildren Blaine and Bryce Thomas.
A funeral service was held Oct. 20, 2025 at Mabank Church of Christ in Mabank. Interment was held privately at Elm Grove Cemetery in Mabank.
