A celebration of the life of Ruthie Foss, 77, of Mabank will be held at 10 a.m. April 29, 2023 at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home.
Ruthie passed away surrounded by family April 15, 2023 in Mabank. She was born April 11, 1946 in Rice Lake, Wis., to Garritt Van Beek and Sophie Stoik Van Beek.
Ruthie grew up around Spooner, Wis. and graduated from Spooner High School.  
On June 27, 1964 she married her one true love, Harold Foss. The couple had over 58 wonderful years together. The couple moved around for Harold’s job and finally settled in Mabank.  
Ruthie’s main goal was to be the best wife and mother she could be. Her family agrees, she met that goal. Ruthie was adored and loved by her family.  
Ruthie had a passion for helping people. She was always someone you could turn. Ruthie enjoyed golfing and bird watching. She loved when the hummingbirds were fluttering around. Ruthie’s pride and joy was her family and time spent with family was the best. Ruthie will live on in the hearts and memories of all that knew and loved her.
Ruthie was preceded in death by her parents and four of her 10 siblings.
She is survived by her beloved husband, children Kendall and Cathy Foss, Nicole and Mark McNamee and Danielle and Clint Reynolds, grandchildren Noah Reynolds, Gunnar Foss, Neil Foss and Finley Foss and a multi of other family and friends.
