Tara Lynn (Pruett) White, 67, of Memphis, Tenn., passed away Jan. 2, 2026 in Tyler. She was born March 5, 1958 to James A. Pruett and Patricia Joyner Lirette.  
Tara was a friend to anyone she met, had a rock-and-roll soul and an adventurous spirit. 
Tara was a graduate of Southaven High School in Mississippi and attended TVCC in Texas with a focus on childhood development.  
She will be lovingly remembered as a devoted and selfless daughter, sister, mother and grandmother. 
Those who knew here will remember her creativity, passion for art, love of music and beach vacations. In her free time she enjoyed painting, playing guitar and gift giving to her nearest and dearest. She will be missed by all and missed forever.  
Tara was preceded in death by her father and sister Wendy Irving. 
She is survived by daughters Jessica White Palmer, Kelly White and Kendall Rooker, grandchildren Ethan and Caleb Palmer, brother Randy Pruett, mother Pat Lirette and her beloved dog Reggie.
