Vickie McLauchlin Rose, 68, of Dallas passed away Dec. 23, 2025. She was the wife of David Neal Rose.
Born Jan. 20, 1957, in Athens, Vickie was a daughter of the late Albert Winston McLauchlin and the late Mae Pearl Dickerson McLauchlin.
Vickie was a graduate of Eustace School and spent many years working for Bank of America, retiring in 2023. She was happily married to David for 42 years and together they built a life centered on love and family. 
She was a devoted mother, always putting her children first and supporting them with unwavering love and care. She treasured time spent with loved ones and found peace and happiness on the family farm, especially the time she shared there with her family. One of her greatest joys was creating memories with her grandchildren, filling their time together with creativity, laughter and love. 
Vickie will be remembered for her warm heart, devotion to family and friends and the meaningful connections she shared with those she loved.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother David McLauchlin.
Along with her husband David Rose, Vickie is survived by children Ashley Elliott (husband Austin Elliott) and Jason Rose, grandchildren Tommy, Tinsley and Teddy Elliott, siblings Sheila McLauchlin and Jeff McLauchlin and other loving family members and many friends. 
A funeral service was held Jan. 3, 2026 at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank. Interment followed at Payne Springs Cemetery in Mabank.
