EUSTACE–Eustace High School hosted their annual athletic banquet to round out the 2021-22 school year to honor all athletes and coaches on their accomplishments May 24.
Beginning the year with the opening of volleyball season, the Lady Bulldogs had another successful year on the court. The Heart award went to Lyra Landrum. The Defensive MVP went to Bailey Billings with Avery Reeve taking home Offensive MVP. Volleyball MVP went to senior Emma Bell.
In girls’ cross country, the Heart award went to Madisen Kulsa. The Newcomer of the Year went to Page Miller and the girls’ MVP was Paige Row. In boys’ cross country, the Heart award went to Cooper Reeve and Trenton Porte. Newcomer of the Year went to Jayden King with the MVP award going to Ryan Porte.
In football, the Heart award went to Brody Sutton. The Defensive MVP was Travis Munden and the Offensive MVP was Jake Haney. The overall MVP went to Christian Case.
In girls’ basketball, the Heart award went to Bailey Billings. Defensive Player of the Year went to Emma Reynolds and Emma Fisher. The Offensive Player of the Year went to Avery Reeve with Emma Bell winning the MVP.
In boys’ basketball, the Heart award went to Christian Case. The Defensive MVP Nico Payne and the Offensive MVP went to Cooper Reeve. Boys’ basketball MVP went to Mark Patek, Jr. 
In powerlifting, the girls’ MVP went to Hannah Rawlinson with David French taking home the boys’ MVP.
For cheerleading, the Most Improved went to Erin Chewning and Most Spirited went to Trayli Tandarich. Rookie of the Year was Abby Brown and Most Dependable was Katelyn Maxwell. Loud and Proud went to Emma Fisher and Fabulous Facials award went to Lydia Reecer. Most Valuable went to Madelynn Seay, Best All-Around went to Landry Hipp and Most Dedicated was Savannah Talbert.
The Eustace Bass Fishing Team of the Year went to the squad of Landry Hipp and Morgan Hunter.
In golf, Most Improved went to both the boys’ and girls’ varsity teams. The girls’ golf MVP went to Bailey Billings and the boys’ MVP went to Brandt Powers.
In softball, Payton Miller took home the Heart award. Co-Defensive Players of the Year went to Emma Reynolds and Sadie Jo Long. Madilyn Andrews took home Offensive Player of the Year and the Co-MVP award alongside teammate Emma Bell.
In baseball, the Heart award went to the entire varsity boys’ team. Co-Offensive MVPs went to Matt Jones and Ish Maltos. Joey Womble took home Pitcher of the Year with Cannon Kilcrease being named MVP.
In girls’ track, Autumn Pugh received Newcomer of the Year. The Heart award went to Trayli Tandarich and Madisen Kulsa. The girls’ MVP for track Grace Ferrell. In boys’ track, Field Event MVP went to Nico Payne. Newcomer of the Year went to Jayden King. The MVP award went to both Jake Haney and Cooper Reeve.
At the end of the banquet, Eustace handed out their Athlete of the Year awards. The Male MVP went to Cooper Reeve and the Female MVP went to Emma Bell.
