East Texas Boom explodes at tournament

courtesy photo East Texas Boom put together a strong weekend of softball, finishing as the runner-up at the Charlie Woodard Memorial Tournament on Aug. 29-30. East Texas Boom showed tremendous fight throughout the weekend, going undefeated in pool play and battling its way into the championship game. Head coach Carlos Moreno praised his team’s effort and intensity throughout the tournament. Coach Chris Miller summed up the weekend simply, calling it “an absolute gem of a weekend.”
