GUN BARREL CITY–Beginning Saturday, Oct. 5, HK Contracting will begin Phase I of reconstruction of Harbor Point Rd.
Reconstruction and paving of Phase 1 will include from Highway (HWY) 334 (Main Street) down 2,300 feet North to the end of Lakeview Elementary property.
County to help build Lakeview Elementary road

HENDERSON COUNTY–Henderson County Commissioners’ Court approved an interlocal agreement with Mabank ISD to use county employees and equipment to assist in building a road at Lakeview Elementary in Gun Barrel City to help with congestion while picking up students Nov. 22.
